Wisconsin > Niagara Escarpm… > Horicon > Ledge Park > Main Area

Description

Sit start the left corner of the overhang. This is the crux. Pull up on small right ledge and tiny left crimp just above your head. Large bump up to gain first legde. Pull up and grab sloper with left hand. Move feet to get ready for huge move to gain main overhang. There are a few ways to continue. Once over the overhang, it's pretty easy moving to the top.

Location

When you head into the park, pass the rangers house, and park at first lot on left side. Walk right into the woods. Continue right until you see small wooden bridge. Look for the cove with a dead tree half cut down. Pic provided.

Protection

2-3 pads

This is the small cove. Season Killer is left of the tree. There are a few good routes here. Cleaning needed.

Sit start inside left corner. I will have to get a better pic of the start. Also, this pic is about a week before we cleaned and sent it.

[Hide Comment] Just cleaned this yesterday. I sent it once just fine. I wanted to do it again of course, and on the first big move, I wrenched my wrist pretty bad. The first thing I thought was "Oh my God, I could be out for the season if this is bad," hence the name. Jun 3, 2008

[Hide Comment] Just an update on the cove, the tree has long since fallen and the large stump is what is now there. My partner and I had a hard time finding the cove as we were looking for the half-cut tree which was no longer up. Thankfully, the location description of Spookier than soup was very detailed and after a short while we were able to find it. Dec 26, 2019
