FA: Mike Snyder, Todd Cozzens, Richard Plummer
Wyoming > Cody > Island

Description

Bouldery start up three clips to a right trending ledge. Trend right to steeper jug hauling to attain the crack system and awesome stemming dihedral. Finish by laybacking a steep flake system. Perhaps the best route at the island!

Location

Farthest route to the right on the Tunnel Wall and just right of Spider Pig. Begin on either of the farthest right sets of bolted starts to attain the ledge. Continue up the right most line of bolts.

Protection

11 clips

At the start of Illegal Dihedral. There's 3 bolts, then a ledge, and then it goes up and right to the dihedral. It was super dirty--wish I'd had a brush.

[Hide Comment] Another classic at the island. Good rock, good holds, some really cool stemming through the middle sections - a must do route at the island. Sep 8, 2013

[Hide Comment] We were pretty confused on where to start this thing until some locals showed up. Shares the start Digital Jedi! Goes up and to the right. Don't stop at the anchors right there! Keep going up! Cleaning gets interesting. All around fun classic for the area. Definitely worth doing. May 21, 2015

[Hide Comment] Definitely a classic! Knowing how to finger lock and stem efficiently will greatly benefit you through the dihedral. Fight the pump for the last clip and clipping the anchors! Jul 10, 2018
