Description

The other end of the crack, this end is much harder. Climb up the crack either laying it back, or just straight up jam it. Fun crack climbing up to a HUGE jug near the lip. Stellar problem.

There is also a sit down start underneath the roof that makes the problem about a grade harder. Getting around the lip is the crux of that variation.

Used to be VERY scary, as there is a pointy stump at the bottom. However, the landing was filled in with rocks to make it very easy to protect.

Still a bit tall, and some potential for.... strange falls, especially if you're laying it back.

Location

Obvious crack on the west face of the boulder. Again, if you can't see it, you're at the wrong rock.

Protection

Crashpad or two, definitely a spotter.

sit start bumps grade up significantly, but as with all cracks, depends on the size of your fingers. The rest is cruiser 5.8/9 climbing Nov 8, 2016

Feels more like a fun/short 5.9 crack. I did think adding the sit start made it quite a bit harder. The feet on the sit start aren't great and it basically was a fingerlock campus. Mar 3, 2013
