Description

This is a classic. It has a thin start but eases up to easier climbing with some nice bulges and rests. An endurance journey for the 11a climber.

Location

Directly across (south side) the one car camping area at the bridge. There are 2 climbs on this wall. It goes 10d and 11a, left to right. Both are stellar.

Protection

10 bolts to mussy hooks. Use a 60 meter rope and tie a knot on the end.

[Hide Comment] Very fun route! Endurance fest and fun movement. Lots of bolts spin on this route. Bring something to tighten them! Also, the anchors bolts are placed in a staggered orientation. Bring a double length sling or some cord to equalize them if you plan on TRing. Two quickdraws are not ideal on this anchor. Jul 29, 2014

[Hide Comment] Cruxy first couple of bolts. Then it lets up for a bit until the last bulge. Route is fairly crimpy compared to most routes at Maple. Been wanting to climb this one for while. Glad to tick it off. Sep 17, 2020

[Hide Comment] In late May of this year, the stream was too high to climb this route without getting your rope soaked. By mid July it was perfect, and probably sooner than that. This year had a very snowy and rainy winter/spring, though. Jul 23, 2023

[Hide Comment] Really engaging tech slabbing from bottom to top. Never really too difficult but will definitely keep you on your toes as you paw for a cobble with the slightest hint of incut. Jul 18, 2024
