Description Suggest change

The crux is definitely near the bottom. A two-part climb. The first section is steeper and thinner (although good pro is easy to find). After topping out on the steep section, meander up and to the left to another section of short (30-40 feet), easy, thick ice. This looked like it could be much more challenging in a thin year.

Location Suggest change

Just right of Ranxerox Tangent in the Ice Palace area. The first major climb you come across from the South Loop Trail.

Protection Suggest change

Screws. Good pro. May be hard to get in a thin year on the bottom half.
