Description

This is an excellent steep route for its grade. The only reason for two stars is the fragile nature of the route.

Location

On the steep east facing wall, on the formation to the right of Arrowhead arete.

Only fragile holds are the last 4 feet or so where there are some thin plates. Otherwise a solid route. Nov 1, 2011

classic steep route. last two hold felt a little chossy. great if you like steep and short routes with a jug haul. Mar 17, 2014

Don't fall before clipping the first bolt. Shorter folks might have trouble clipping from the side pull in which case a stick clip would be a good idea. Nov 20, 2015
As of March 2016, the 1st bolt was extremely loose. I hand tightened the nut, but it would be great if someone could tighten it up properly. Apr 13, 2016

First bolt had the nut hanging off the end of the shaft on Saturday. Was hand tightened but until a solution to the first bolt is put in place, I can see this occurring over and over again. Oct 29, 2018 · Temporary Report
