Description

Climb up the ramp at the left end of the crag and then make reach up and into the left facing flake/crack (sometimes there is a bolt) and follow flake to the top. The step over into the flake is 5.8 the rest is only 5.5-ish.

Protection

Mostly medium cams and one bolt that comes and goes. Tree anchor.

Location

This is on the left end of the main wall and is very obvious.

Yeah, I'd say getting yourself onto the slab proper is the only barely 5.8 move on there and it feels much easier once you know how to do it. The rest of the climb is no harder than 5.4 Mar 22, 2010

I am confused in this route. Steps goes up to the first ledge, am I correct? What is after that, ther are bolts above it but I was not able to find out what that was, nor was I able I climb it. Any help would be great. Dec 13, 2013

Tyler, the slab above the ledge is the finish of Steps Direct which is the direct start and ~15ft of 5.10 slab above the anchors of steps. The upper slab is also climbed as a finish to Morning Glory and Zits. Dec 13, 2013

Once you get to the flake, it's only 5.2 max. Apr 24, 2017
