Description

The crux of this one comes about 15 feet up. The holds are large, but some interesting foot work is necessary.

Location

The route is the second from the right when looking at the wall. There is an unnamed crack (5.5) just to the right.

Great Climb at Pilot, tricky to work out the footwork, but once you do, very smooth climb. Start by working the flake moving just right and work back to the left as you approach the ledge, past the ledge it is 5.6 at most. Fresh bomber bolts at the top for anchor. Dec 30, 2017

Fun for the grade at Pilot. Definitely a must do if you're taking an inexperienced group out. Mar 2, 2015

The guidebook on the Carolina Climbers Coalition website rates this one as a 5.6 -- I would have to disagree, this one's more of a 5.7. Jun 3, 2008

An absolute must-do for the grade. Expect to get to the crag early or have to wait to get on this route. Jun 2, 2008
