DescriptionA great place to learn to ice climb... The north end offers easy access top roping and some moderate leads with fat ice to fill with screws... Its a pretty wide flow and can and will host MANY parties at once... Depending on what you are looking for you can climb pretty easy routes that barely make the grade 3 and you can find steeper lines that might barely break you in to grade 4... most of the climbing however is solid WI3 to 3+...
The only downside to this area is that it sees LOTS of traffic and gets really beaten out if conditions aren't good for rebuilding... I guess the up side to that is that you can sometimes climb here with out having to swing your tools at all, just hooking where others have bashed away...
