Description

Stem the crack, turning a small roof with big jugs. Chimney to the top, moving toward the back to belay from boulders on the top of the slope. 180’ (Originally, we continued to the top of the left pinnacle, climbing the front part of the chimney, then did the short rap off the back from 2 bolts.) Hike down steep gully around left.

Location

This is the long crack to the chimney that separates the two pinnacles at the far left end of the south face. We found a pin with an old ratty sling about 15’ up (??) (See "location" section for "Chicken Crack" for more info.)

Protection

Include doule cams to 4"

[Hide Comment] The roof on this thing is a blast. The final 30'chimney is classic. Sling boulders to belay from tower top. Dec 7, 2009
