Description

This route is on the arete of the Tombstone. It gets the name from a rusty old pin 3/4 of the way up the route. I'm not scared, I clipped it, then I clipped the bolt about 2ft above it. This route kept you on the arete with just a couple of reachy moves.

Location

Route is on the obvious arete of the tombstone.

Protection

6 bolts... that may include the pin, I can't recall. Goes to a chain anchor that is shared with The Crack.

[Hide Comment] Good rock quality and VERY well bolted. Interesting moves the entire way. If you're like me and didn't bring a trad rack to NZ, you can tr the crack to the right. Mar 6, 2020
