Description

This route isn't really in any area, but since it's close to Tonsai Roof, we'll put it here.

This climb has a little bit of everything, but it is a little scary. Pull the difficult bouldery start and head up past a little roof to cool easy stalactite climbing to a steep finish. Beware of falling onto the concrete platform on the crux start, and around the 4th bolt there are powerlines to look out for.

If everything else is crowded this can make a nice warmup, just don't fall at the start.

Location

Starts off the corner of Freedom Bar's cement patio.

Protection

Glue-in Bolts and Slings to Anchors. Take a lot of draws, there are a lot of slings to clip.

Interesting climbing, but the awkwardly hard start right above a pool of gross black Tonsai ectoplasm detracts a bit. Be careful when pulling your rope to keep it on the platform and out of the water! Feb 26, 2017
