Warning Stainless-steel bolts are suspect near the coast. A rebolting effort is underway. Details

Description

Run up and easy start and long rightward hand traverse on a ledge. Climb up onto the ledge and start up the steep crack / flake. At the second bolt there was a sling allowing you to clip early, good idea as this is probably the crux and prevents you from ledging out. Continue up the crack for a ways on easier but still steep and pumpy ground.

Sam's guide mentions that this was at one time incredibly dirty but has now cleaned up and gets quite a bit of traffic. I guess because it makes a good warmup.

Location

Rightmost Route on Dum's Kitchen. Shares first bolt with Asia Shadow Play. Start on the jungle trail towards Railey pass through the small cave until you are almost at Tyrolian wall. Turn around and climb up onto a boulder and you will be at the start.

Anyone have info on the upper pitch/pitches (or extension pitches) of this route? Saw someone up there a couple weeks ago. Feb 21, 2016
