Description

115 foot pitch.
This route has sustained climbing with unusual face holds for Mt. Lemmon.

Location

Starts a few feet right of the black streak roughly where the trail from the drainage meets the wall. If you don't have a 70M rope there is a second set of anchors (you climb past them on the way up) to lower down to. On the way down tie in straight, pull the rope, tie back into the rope and lower the rest of the way to the ground.

I did this climb (actually twice) this week and the rock is now quite solid. This is one of my two favorite climbs on this face and it's a must do for anyone into Tucson-style wavy-gravy thin-edge face climbing. Highly recommend! Jan 13, 2017

Don't know if it is from the cold temps we have been having but this climb had a lot of lil pieces of rock coming off of it today. Good climb though. Like the other comments say from top to bottom this thing is 5.10. If you let up on this, you will have a first class ticket for a few feet. Feb 27, 2010

Very nice. It's 5.10 from bottom to top. Plenty clean now too. Dec 31, 2008

You can be lowered using a 60 meter rope - go slow and lower down near the tree (climbers right)

Good quality route - traffic must cleaning it up. Nothing skated for me :) May 12, 2008

lots of small loose stuff, but after 50-100 more climbers help kick off most of the kitty litter this may well be a tucson classic. Jan 20, 2008

Good slab with unusual holds. Has some scaley potato-chips at one of the final cruxes that I should have kicked off while lowering. Dec 24, 2007
