Snotty Nosed Brat is an obvious line that forms in the creek just to the right of the Direct North Face. The difficulty of this climb varies depending on how fat the ice is. It usually ranges from WI3 in mid-season to WI5 early in the season. To descend, rappel from a large tree atop the route with double ropes.

A selection of screws.

I found this route to be excellent! The gully it is in is fairly protected, and thus the ice doesn't see a whole lot of sun. The left side was not formed up, and I assume that would be WI3, but the right side was formed up with hard, thick, vertical ice. Apr 23, 2017
