Description

This route climbs over well-bolted roof onto easier slab above. Vertically challenged climbers may release "Funky Noises" during the fun roof move.

Location

The main branch in the trail will take you to "the Brickyard" area. Featuring a prominent roof, this route is near the center of the area (in between "Dirty Woman" and "Branch Breaker"). I will get a photo next time I'm there.

Protection

4-5 bolts to chain anchors

The roof pull is fun and totally doable for people under 5'6" using some creative footwork (a drop-knee on a 10 !?!) and a hidden crimp. Feb 17, 2014

Though it's only 1 move, the roof move is NOT 10-, but solid 10+. The rest of the route goes at about 5.8. May 4, 2009
