Access Issue: Red Rock RAIN AND WET ROCK: The sandstone is fragile and is very easily damaged when wet. Details

To the right of Synapse Collapse and to the left of a giant black streak. Scramble up the same bulge as Synapse Collapse and climb up a moderately steep face making big moves on good holds. There is a crux deadpoint between the fourth and fifth bolts.

5 bolts and open shuts

There is now a 3 bolt extension off the original anchor, that trends rightward to an upper anchor in a black streak, 30' higher. You transition from the steeps into a gently overhanging, technical crimp section. In my opinion it makes the route a more solidified .12a and packs on a whole lot more fun. Sep 18, 2015
Awesome climb. Mostly steep climbing on jugs except the short crux section. Felt a bit soft but worth getting on regardless! Jan 28, 2019
