The story behind the name on this one came from the FA in 2001. Brett Keyes and I bolted it on lead and with a hand drill. It took most of the day. When I grabbed that sinker pocket about 3/4s of the way up, Brett told me I'd be a "Sally" if I used it. So I used it anyway and became a Sally, I guess, and the name was born. I think this route has become one of the better routes for its grade the Fume Wall. Dec 8, 2015
Agreed this is Fume Wall classic! Up there with Bad Math and The Undercling. Sep 6, 2017

Drilled a new anchor for Sally's today so that it is no longer shared with Psycho Billy Cadillac. The new anchor has really nice Mussy hooks from the ASCA to facilitate easy lowering and anchor cleaning, so please don't steal them. It is at the ledge before the former last bolt. I also moved the previous bolt to the right a little bit to better protect the line that most people end up climbing. Dec 1, 2018
