Description

Located slightly right of center on the north face of Lower Dinosaur Rock. Look for the smoothest, nicest-looking section of wall with a horizontal crack at mid-height; this is the left of three bolted lines.

Slab climbing past two bolts leads to a horizontal (optional pro here) which bisects the face at mid-height. Above the angle steepens and interesting face moves culminate with the crux right before the anchors.

* The first ascent was done on Earth Day, hence the name.

Protection

4 bolts, chain anchors

[Hide Comment] The moves at the top are good, but the bolt placement earlier in the climb is possibly the worst I have ever seen. The 1st bolt is way too high and the third is hard to clip from the large ledge unless you are over 6'.

Better gear placement would have made this 2 stars. As it stands an ok (just) route. Aug 23, 2010
