DNR wants to pass on a friendly reminder to display your Discover Pass, not block any gates, and park well off the road to prevent getting ticketed or towed. Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition continue to partner with DNR on stewardship and management of the Gold Bar Boulders and their access sites. Description
The butt-dragging extension start to Dining in Hell on the Thermopylae Wall. Sit start low and right matched on a blocky jug (see photo) and traverse up and left, finishing on Dining in Hell. Fun moves.
The Thermopylae Wall is about 150 feet uphill and slightly west of Stinkin' Slopers, and immediately downhill of Balance of Power. This would be a fine place to hold off a vast Persian army with a small band of Spartans. On the right side of this wall is the classic Gates of Fire.
