All of the crags within the New River Gorge proper are on national parklands, and drone use is prohibited here. There has been some discussion about places to launch drones that are not on park property, and then flying them over the gorge. This is super poor form; don't do it. Park regulations prohibit all drone use over the boundaries without a permit.

Description

Fun route, indeed asking a little of the brain with some creative stemming. Good face climbing. Head right at the first fixed pin into the shallow right facing corner.

Location

Route is the obvious shallow right-facing corner. Just left of the sport route Brain Tweezers.

Protection

Mostly smaller stuff. A few fixed pins will be found. Anchors on top.

Very reminiscent of the steep NC quatzite climbing, and it reminded me a lot of Moores Wall. It also protected just as strangely as there. I would recommend tricams and tcus plus some medium gear. Top is a little heady before anchor Aug 4, 2023
