Access Issue: NO DRONES ON NATIONAL PARKLANDS Details

All of the crags within the New River Gorge proper are on national parklands, and drone use is prohibited here. There has been some discussion about places to launch drones that are not on park property, and then flying them over the gorge. This is super poor form; don't do it. Park regulations prohibit all drone use over the boundaries without a permit.

Description

Pull a chalked-up boulder problem out the low roof and climb up slightly right of the arete. Low crux, fun moderate climbing above.

Location

Starts just right of You Want It... Look for the chalked-up holds out the low roof.

Protection

Light rack. Bolt anchors at the top.

Basically a V1 boulder problem to gain the face and place your first piece of gear, then a cruiser (but pretty fun!) 5.7 to the top. This is absolutely not 5.10. Aug 28, 2017
