[Hide Comment] One often sees the flash of headlamps on this on a busy weekend night. It is a fun 5.8, a good introduction to Vantage, with it's wandering back and forth to find the good holds.

[Hide Comment] I personally feel like this is a 5.7. No real challenge and a great warm up or first lead. It was my first sport lead! May 22, 2017

[Hide Comment] Ok route, feet and hands are getting quite polished but it’s a decent warm up. Lower offs are getting some significant wear as of 1/20/21, I felt more comfortable rapping. Just a friendly reminder to anyone checking this one out with groups of people, lower off permadraws are for *lowering* Please set up top rope sessions on your own gear to extend the life of the hardware. [Hide Comment] Perma clips at the top are almost run through. Recommend lowering through the chains and using an anchor for any top roping. Jan 15, 2022

[Hide Comment] A fun, reachy jughaul with some interesting moves off of sidepulls down low. The permadraw carabiners on top are very worn however. Jan 22, 2022

[Hide Comment] Great route but the clips up top are still in need of replacement and are now about 2/3rds and 4/5ths worn through. At least one is slightly less worn so they probably won't both fail at the same time? Oct 12, 2022

[Hide Comment] I was surprised how low the star rating on this route is. I would say for Vantage sport climbing it should live in the 3-3+ star realm. It has positive holds, well spaced bolts, perma draws up top, and the first bolt isn’t 20ft off the ground. Great for those looking to break into 5.8 or a quick warm up route before you hop on something more committing. Definitely worth getting on while at the feathers. Feb 17, 2024
