Description

Great 5.7, one of the best in the canyon. Has a few moves that make people use their feet. Great first lead.

Location

Farthest route up the wall, follows a line of bolts to the chains at the top, rap down, or climb to the top and walk off to the North.

Protection

Bolts and chains.

I did this as my first lead ever, and it was a ton of fun! The holds are nice, and there are enough bolts that I wasn't uncomfortable when I got above one. Pretty windy at the top, but the view of the canyon is worth it! Definitely would recommend for a first lead, since it was so easy. May 24, 2017

The last bolt before the chains looks like it needs replaced. It's pretty rusty and loose. But great climb I loved it. Sep 20, 2016

Good route, nice and sunny. Easy enough to set up on top rope too if you just hike around west side of the wall. May 12, 2013

This is my favorite "early season" climb - a good one to get on to awaken the climbing skills after a winter of skiing. Enjoy the jugs.

7 or 8 bolts to a double chain anchor. Mar 12, 2013

He really should have a foot loop rigged to those quick draws too just to be safe. Sep 20, 2012

Sweet Video. To think that I've been clipping bolts the wrong way all these years of climbing. Sep 17, 2012

The bottom links on the chains look pretty worn. May 29, 2012

Correction to route length.

Lost Bolt takes just under half a 60 meter rope making it roughly 25 meters in length or about 100 feet. May 24, 2012
