FA: Russ Walling (TD, 1st pitch 10/97) Bernd Zeugswetter 2nd pitch 2020, In Dust We Trust
California
> Sierra Eastside
> Bishop Area
> Little Egypt
> Mussypotamia Right
Description
Pitch 1: Good rock and good edges lull you into thinking you have this one in the bag... then the crux hits you right at the top. Anchors are at a good stance. Single rope rap from here.
Pitch 2: 8 bolts and 11d
Pitch 3: Trivial 5.6 slab to gain the summit. 3 bolts to a rap station.
Location
Starts left of Blue Balls about 75ft, and left of some really cool slashes on the wall. Bolt anchors/loweroffs. Follows the best rock and line up to the anchor.
Protection
Bolts and lower offs

To keep with Russ' naming, i will call the second pitch "In Dust We Trust" a song on the album Exit Planet Dust.
Also cleaned the very old and tattered fixed rope from the route. Apr 30, 2020

Thanks man! It's so fun up there. I was actually thinking of naming the second pitch Alive Alone because of current events but realized that the next route over was already named that. :)
Oh the 3rd pitch has three bolts and a nice rap station on top.
Blue Balls has a second pitch. Do you mean a second pitch for Alive Alone? Apr 30, 2020
