This is an easy snow couloir climb up the north face of Pete's Point. Mostly a side diversion while hiking in the Wallowas. The couloir is maybe 45 degrees and goes for 750 feet.

Trivia: At 9695 ft Pete's Point is the 11th highest point in Oregon.

From the Wallowa Lake Trail head hike 6 miles up to Aneroid Lake. Petes Point is between Tenderfoot and Polaris Pass.

Single ice axe, there can be some ice so perhaps crampons. If roping up a screw or two and a picket or two.

Can be some rock fall.
