FA: Greg Collum, Andy Selters
Washington > Central-W Casca… > Skykomish Valley > Index > Middle Town Walls > Rhythm Cliff > Upper Rhythm

Description

A tricky first move which may seem really hard for shorter people gives way to easier climbing for a few bolts. The crux is reached at about halfway, with a tough move getting situated on the arete.

Location

This route shares the first 3 bolts with Unnatural act, then goes left to the obvious arete, and a two bolt anchor.

[Hide Comment] All bad bolts were replaced on 9/1/20. We left the anchor and two bolts around the crux that are in good shape. Aug 29, 2020

[Hide Comment] The semi-rare Index sport climb that actually feels like a normal sport climb. Juggy granite goodness, a well-defined cryptic crux sequence and fantastic bolting sum this one up. Lower end of the grade for Index imo. Jul 22, 2026

[Hide Comment] Awesome crux sequence that’s easier than its neighbor dialed but much harder onsight. Jul 25, 2026
