Description

Short but good crack climb in this (mostly) bouldering area...Belay from a dirty ledge and make sure to anchor the belayer. Fingers to hands...
Despite being a short (but fun) climb, this is NOT a highball boulder problem as it starts on a ledge fifteen feet up and fall will deffinately ruin your day.

Location

The face above the boulders at Brewer's Park

Protection

Cams from finger to hand...4 pieces max and maybe a big hex to protect the belayer. Sling boulders at top for anchor or build from gear.

We climbed this route in June 2007. Not sure who did the FA but based on it's proximity to more than a dozen established climbs I am pretty sure it was not us! If you bagged the FA or know this route by another name, let me know...
In the mean time this will remain named Brewer's Crack. Apr 30, 2008

Bring big gear for anchor set up, I used a BD #3,BD #4, and a master cam #5. A BD .75 is also usefull to protect the belayer, in the same spot as Brewer's arete. This was a surprisingly fun warm-up. Aug 14, 2009
