Description

On the steep South face of the 'Happy Boulder', sit-start on a juggy shelf (same starting holds as 'The Hulk'). Make a tricky sequence up and right onto the arete. Continue up the steep arete heading left on better holds to a few fun last moves.

[Hide Comment] I believe this was named for the large plastic chicken that roosts on top of the Manor Market in Bishop. There are routes named after this hunk of American in the Gorge too. The route Billion Million comes to mind as we would exaggerate the height of the thing and it ended up being a "billion million" feet tall. In reality is about 7 ft high if memory serves. [Hide Comment] Holds may or may not be broken at the top, but the problem goes fine at V2 from the stand start. I didn't do it from the sit, so can't comment on the grade for that. Dec 9, 2016
