Roof start to a short slab and then jug haul to the top. There might have been some rock fall that made that last few moves a bit easier. A few reachy spots too.

right of Southpark

about 10 bolts, anchors up top.

i think this is actually right of south park. crux felt harder than 11a but the rest of it is hard 10 at the most. an excellent climb with unique and varied moves. the second clip is kind of spicey. May 14, 2009

Yep -it's to the right of Southpark. Very fun route - great start, great middle section, and great finish, interspersed with some easier sections. May 30, 2009

When I first climbed this, I thought there's no way it's 11a. I've flailed less on 12s. I ended up (EDIT) "climbing it without falling" on the 2nd go (on toprope) after finding the holds and working out the beta. I still think it'd be hard as hell for a short person but yea, it's 11- ish. Would be hard to onsight, though. One part looks impossible at first, and I'd be really curious to see how someone with less strength, less reach and better technique would do it. Jun 18, 2016
You "flashed it", "second go", on "top rope". Me thinks you should look up the definition of "flash". Jun 19, 2016

Do you get notifications when people make new comments? I haven't been able to figure out how to enable that feature and am always amazed at how quickly people can find and make snide replies to my comments. Jul 6, 2016

Justin- Pretty sure you only get comment notifications of routes you first posted or forum topics that you're following. I could be wrong though.

It can also be very hard to keep up with some MP users with how fast they whip out those snide comments. I'm pretty sure they keep a notebook on hand to jot them down when they come to mind, therefore making it that much easier to be the first to get the "sick burn" when they are sitting at their computer doing that online climbing. Click on the RSS buttton at the bottom of the page and you can set up a feed for new SoAZ comments.

You may also have to configure the browser you use ( w RSS reader add ins, etc) to correctly show the feed.

That's for PC, not a clue how it works for mobile. Jul 7, 2016

I apologize, snide was an inappropriately harsh word. I got embarrassed being called out on a noob mistake. Thanks Christian for the RSS feed info. Jul 17, 2016

Lots of people have yet to learn all the lingo. No big deal.at least Jim both didn't point it out in front of a lot of people! Oh wait.I can assure you he wasn't trying to belittle you just trying to get you on the correct page. In person he would have looked at you with a wry grin and said it in a tone that let you know that. Have a good weekend. Jul 20, 2016
