Description

The right facing corner just left of the start of the South Face route. Join up with South Face route at the top of P1 and finish via P2 and P3 of South Face.

We did the FA of this back in the day when we still used pitons and hammers--harsh on the sandstone! The route's name refers to a bong dropped from somewhere on the second or third pitch, that disappeared into the chaparral... perhaps after the fires, some intrepid soul can look around downslope from the cave and see if an ancient bong can be found... (Note: "bong" in this context means an angle piton sized for a crack of 3 inches or wider..." Mar 18, 2012
