> Main Cliff
Description
Wandering line to slight overhang, diagonal crack above a small ledge to a small inside corner to finish.
Per M. Delaney: "I did the first ascent in 1974, I did it as an unroped solo. I had climbed all of the existing routes on the main cliff, mostly with my brother Brian Delaney (RIP 2014), and the relatively blank wall where Caroline is seemed to have merit. By the way, when Ken Nichols was collecting new CT routes for some project he was working on, I spelled the route "Caroline," as opposed to the current spelling--don't know where the current spelling came from and if it appears that way in a guidebook. I named the route for Caroline Eschardt, who died while climbing at the Quincy Quarries in 1973."
