Description [Edit]

A good climb, but a little harder to get to. The starting traverse makes the first few placements of gear and belay anchor critical if you lead directly from the Hemateria ledge.

Location [Edit]

As for Hemateria Left...
From the overlook with handrails below the parking lot, walk East 10 meters past the tree-rap for 'B-25' and continue another 10 meters to stop above this climb. You will see a good platform-like ledge down below you, 3/4 of the way to the water and large enough in size to enjoy the belay.
From there, start off by traversing left 7 meters to the base of a good handcrack, 'Stone King (10a).'

Protection [Edit]

A rack of fingers to hand-sized gear.

Photos

There are now bolted anchors at the top of the pitch and the base of the crack, making this a lot easier to get to. Goes at 9+ in the Rush guidebook. Super fun! Oct 28, 2016
