This route is located left of Cruel Shoes on the east face of Stripe Rock.

Pitch 1- Climb the slab protected by 4 bolts and some gear to a ledge with a small tree and a two bolt anchor. 5.10c

Pitch 2- Face climb steeper rock past 7? bolts to a two bolt belay near a hole. 5.10a

Pitch 3- Climb the slab past more bolts to a two bolt belay. 5.8

Pitch 4- Easier, more runout climbing leads to a two bolt belay near the summit.

Located about 100 feet left of the start of Cruel Shoes on Stripe rock.

Quickdraws and a few pieces of protection for the first pitch.

As I recall, Ranger Brad told me Tony Calderone put this up "ground-up".Brad felt it was poorly engineered, and asked TC to add some bolts, which he did. Dec 21, 2015

This route gets an R rating in the guidebooks. It says 3 pitches of "minimally protected climbing". I don't know about that... All of the harder climbing is very well protected, if you don't mind climbing a little bit above the bolts. Some of the easier (5.8) climbing is a bit runout.
Anyway, I thought this was a nice, fun route with great rock and moves on a nice wall. May 20, 2007
