Description

To the right of "Woman's Work Is Never Done", climb up into an alcove with a roof. Move out over the roof and follow a thin crack to the top.

Protection

Pro to 2.5", mainly thin. Usually top roped.

There's more than one way to do the crux. (Stop reading now if you want to avoid beta.) If you lieback and stem the sides of the roof, it's ~ 10d. But if you step low onto the RH side of the roof and balance onto the crimps, it's only 10b. You still use the fingers in the upper part of roof to step onto the RH side, so it seems like a legit (i.e., not 'cheating') variation. Either way, it's only a couple of cool moves on an otherwise blah route. But they are fun, and it's worthy of a quick TR if you're doing Woman's Work. 1 day ago
