Description [Suggest Change]

Climb well-featured pink and grey granite into a flared corner system at the second bolt, transition past a dark band of rock at the third bolt and finish up past nice holds on more pink/grey rock. Short but entertaining, and a good warm-up for the lower area.

Location [Suggest Change]

Located on a small face between Three Kings on the left and Unnatural Act on the right.

Protection [Suggest Change]

4 bolts, shuts

This thing is a lot harder now that the jugs have broken off. probably solid 5.8 now Nov 17, 2013

Interesting moves. Stay to the right of bolts. The tree/bush at the anchor is kind of annoying, but you're welcome to do another 15-20 feet of less than vertical climbing up and to the right to the next anchor. Getting to the second bolt over the bulge is the crux. May 6, 2016

Good layback features, mantles, and kneebar potential. I only counted 3 BOLTS. However, 3 bolts was ample enough to feel safe. The shuts at the top are rusting. However, they still feel pretty solid. Dec 12, 2016

The 4th bolt, actually the original first bolt, is at ground level or just below due to the landslides in the not-so-distant past; unfortunately this already short route is now that much shorter. Dec 12, 2016

A much harder lead for the person who just bagged their first lead climb on “The Fourth Wise Man” 2 routes over. Higher first bolt and much higher second bolt with less straight forward moves. Plenty fun though. Nov 27, 2017
