Predominantly a sustained vertical handcrack with your usual Mt Lemmon edges scattered about. The start is sporty and heady. Somewhat wide finish. Great jamming. Solid for the grade.

This route is actually on the Militant Students pinnacle as you approach the Iranian Wall. As you approach, look for a smooth face with a hand crack above it on the left back side of the pinnacle.

Standard rack. Gear anchor. For the descent, there is no fixed anchor. I would not attempt this route without bringing about 20 feet of webbing or accessory cord to loop around a horizontal horn for the rappel.

Underground classic. Approach is easier than going to Iranian. Used a few 000 and 00 cams up to a #5. There is a route 30 ft left of this that has not been sent yet and is probably a new line (.11b/c)? Jun 22, 2018
