Description [Suggest Change]

Predominantly a sustained vertical handcrack with your usual Mt Lemmon edges scattered about. The start is sporty and heady. Somewhat wide finish. Great jamming. Solid for the grade.

Location [Suggest Change]

This route is actually on the Militant Students pinnacle as you approach the Iranian Wall. As you approach, look for a smooth face with a hand crack above it on the left back side of the pinnacle.

Protection [Suggest Change]

Standard rack. Gear anchor. For the descent, there is no fixed anchor. I would not attempt this route without bringing about 20 feet of webbing or accessory cord to loop around a horizontal horn for the rappel.

Underground classic. Approach is easier than going to Iranian. Used a few 000 and 00 cams up to a #5. There is a route 30 ft left of this that has not been sent yet and is probably a new line (.11b/c)? 7 hours ago
