Fantastic route with thin moves from top to bottom. The climb starts left of High Infidelity off of grassy ledge.

Hairdressers on Fire climbs the striking orange face on Winter Wall

5 bolts and rap rings. Some bring a small alien/tcu for some added mental comfort between the ground and the high first bolt.

Looks like a key hold broke on moves just after the last bolt. I think it makes this route harder now.

This climb is as good as it gets!! Nov 12, 2017

John Vermont led this route in the Fall/Winter of 1987/88...moreover, this was NOT the first time he'd led the climb.
I belayed him and he commented about how much easier it felt using camming devices - he'd originally led the route solely on stoppers!
I believe Paul Peronard and Andrew Lunde were with us on that trip.

Please note: I have not been on this climb since it was bolted in the early 1990s. Apr 30, 2015

Do people use the crack out right at the last bolt or that thin crimp that flexes off the wall? Mar 10, 2013
