Description

This route features some fun crack climbing down low, a transition rightward to a horizontal, followed by heady bolt-protected face moves through black rock to the top.

Location

Hit it Ethel is the route just to the right of Route 66 (the obvious 5.4 hand crack) on Mary Ann's Face. Bolted anchor with rings for rap.

Protection

Pro to 3" and 3 bolts.

[Hide Comment] The horizontal takes a BD #2 nicely to protect the moves up to the first bolts on the face (though there is a monster jug that gets you onto that face). Second half is typical, lovely, runout JTree slab. Feb 21, 2014
