Description

Start directly on the arete and make some crimpy moves up and left to a horizontal crack where you can take a breather and get ready for the fun above. Bearhug the arete to a devious crux at the third bolt which invlolves a long reach/dyno to a jug and then finish up tricky vertical face past several horizontals.

Excellent moves and exposure on this and although a little dirty from lack of traffic it will clean up nicely.

Location

On the northeast arete just right of Trout Fishing in America; the opposite side of the arete is Rumblefish.

Protection

5 bolts, sport anchors

Definitely felt like at least 11d to this 5'6" climber. Gonna need to clean up some more to earn that fourth star. Well bolted through the hard stuff, then somewhat easier climbing on grainy rock after the last bolt. Aug 16, 2014

Fantastic climb with tough feet and a heady crux. For shorter climbers, rating may be closer to 11d (In comparison to other climbs in area). Apr 2, 2011
