RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

The climbing gets more difficult the higher you go.

Begin behind a large cube of rock, about 15' right of Rafter Man.

8 bolts: There are two bolts protecting the smooth face, followed by 3 more bolts leading up the honeycombed rock to the base of the red band, with 3 more bolts heading up and left on the overhanging rock.

Clipping bolt two was a bit scary with the lack of feet and bad fall potential. The other bolts are a bit spacious but not dangerous... very good climb! Nov 23, 2017
