Description

This East-facing route on dark gray rock is possibly the best route at the tunnel. It's the only route on rock that could be called "good" by any normal standards. Unfortunately the engaging slab crux at the 4th bolt ends just as things are starting to get intersting.

Location

The farthest right (W) bolted route at the Shady Side.

The description is accurate: the sharp, featured limestone on this route is reminiscent of climbs in the Bat Cave area. Quite a sharp contrast to Ed's Route just a few tens of feet to the left, where I felt like I was climbing a big bar of soap. May 18, 2018

Almost want to give this 4 stars, as it is definitely the best rock on the shady side that we climbed. Really fantastic movement with a cool spicy finish. Felt a bit harder than 5.9 to me, even with the obvious good holds. Jun 9, 2018
