Truth in Advertising starts just left of Rose Garden. The first bolt is a little ways off the ground, but the climbing is straight forward on good holds. Continue up and right past two more bolts to a hidden pin in a horizontal (can be backed up with a medium cam). One more bolt leads to the anchors.

Location

Located on the right side of the No Money Down area, immediately to the left of Rose Garden.

Protection

Four bolts and a pin. Quick clips at the anchor.

[Hide Comment] There is a pin in the horizontal crack part way up and I know this is described in the protection description but I have seen countless people miss the pin and start freaking out because it is "run out"... Jan 4, 2009

[Hide Comment] Everything about this climb is better than neighboring climb "Rose Garden". Slightly harder but moves are much better. Mar 20, 2012

[Hide Comment] Iwas there when either you or Bob saw the pin and thought it was to rusted to use and climbed it complaining that it was run out Nov 13, 2013
[Hide Comment] I just climbed this today and didn't see a pin but there was a glued in bolt. May 16, 2017

[Hide Comment] Maybe not for the budding 5.7 leader. The lower bolts are pretty spaced, I think it wouldn't be too tough to hit the blocks down and right from the route if you came off the first half of the climb, particularly near the second and third bolts. Oct 11, 2020
