Description

Good route that is more sustained than most of the other 5.10s in the area. The crux is encountered at a bulge about half way up the route.

Location

There is one belay bolt on the ledge in front of The Great Flake. Mr. Styles starts in the shallow left-facing dihedral above the belay bolt.

We went and stick clipped up this route to watch the fireworks on the small ledge just above this route during the 4th of July. unfortunately I accidentally left my stick clip up on the ledge and didn't have time to retrieve it. If someone climbs this route and finds it, it would be much appreciated if you could give me a call. 801-452-1560.

also its well protected down low but up high you run-out quite a bit to the last bolt, and then run-out again to the chains. Jul 5, 2015

Mike Anderson's book rates it 10c. This is the simple reason for the 10c rating, if you were wondering. Mar 27, 2009

The book calls this a 10b but I would agree with the 10c rating. I think this route is much more fun than any of the climbs at the 5.10 slab -- more consistent and athletic. My favorite 5.10 in the area. Oct 31, 2008
