RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek Details

Description

Sit start from two good jugs to an obvious chalked flake. Body tension and/or huck to the top. Technical and fun. Once you have the beta dialed, its easy.

Location

On the Flat Top boulder, facing the main parking area. Look for a miniature cave next to the name "Trujillo" written on the rock.

Protection

Maybe a pad. Good landing though

One of my favorite body tension problems ever. It's very short but the movements are unique and interesting. Took me a couple tries to figure it out. Nov 28, 2016

This problem has no name, according to Noah Bigwood's Big Bend guide, but the name "Trujillo" carved into the rock has led to a great many people (myself included) to call it what it is listed as here. If the FA (or Mr. Trujillo) have any opinions on it, let'em speak.

This problem is incredibly short, maybe 3 moves in total, and incredibly good. Its a good feeling finally slapping the top of the boulder, as this problem requires a lot of control and finesse. You can't just pull hard and hope to send.

You can get away without a pad, and one actually gets in the way until you're out of the cave. Feb 13, 2009
