RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Details

PG rating on this one. It's delicate and technical getting to the second bolt. If you come off here you're going to swing back into the ledge. I believe some of the holds have broken since the first ascent as it felt considerably harder than 11a.

On the middle tier the black varnished face. You can recognize the route by the second bolt diagonaling out left.

Felt easier than 5.11 to me; maybe it is height dependent. I am 6'3" and it was a little reachy at times for me. Jan 11, 2010
