[Hide Comment] Really great climb. My favorite at the grade at Reimers! Dec 1, 2014
[Hide Comment] Jade is amazing, the movement is beyond perfect, and it's relatively long for Reimers. Oct 30, 2015

[Hide Comment] Man, this thing felt like a classic... got my ass kicked but I'm coming back for more for sure! Feb 5, 2018

[Hide Comment] Awesome route! It felt like a solid 12a (feels easier than Rain Dance to me). There are some crimpy intermediates in the crux sequence that minimize the need for deadpoints. Jan 28, 2022

[Hide Comment] This is the most classic line I've been on in Austin, except maybe Tunnel Vision. Aesthetic, varied climbing with a lot of power endurance. Several options through the crux. In isolation everything feels pretty easy but linking it is quite difficult.

Edit: I’ve now sent Rain Dance and I can say, for me, this is harder or at least of the same grade. I know many people who feel the other way as well. Not sure if that means Jade is hard for 12a or Rain Dance is soft for 12b, but both took me more attempts than the other 12a routes in the park Jan 14, 2024
