Climb the thin crack and face up slightly slabby, good rock.

This is the thin crack/face on the south side of the Throne Proper.

Gear to 2". 2 bolt anchor. Rap or lower.

Anchors definitely need to be replaced. Anchor bolts and hangers have quite a bit of rust. The first anchor has a rusted chain with a older style rusted cold shut end which has a weathered sling connecting the cold shut end to natural pro as a redundancy as it seems more people are unsure of this chains integrity. The second has a 6-7mm cord attached to the anchor with a smaller (maybe 5mm) maillion link tied on to the end.

Needs new bolts, hangers, and chains; or a new set of bolts and hangers on the face instead. Dec 13, 2014

The anchors were in need of replacing when I went back in 2012. Didn't inspire toproping. Safe enough for me to lower off of though. Mar 27, 2014
