Description

I'm not sure if this has a name or who did the first ascent. Maybe someone will let us know when they see this. Climb the corner to the left of Valentine Arete route. The only anchor in the area is to climb up and right to use the anchor on Valentine Arete. Be careful if you do this!

Location

Just left of Valentine Arete on the Main Wall

Protection

Nuts up to #3 Camalot (or TR off the Valentine Arete anchor)

This route has some loose rock starting in the middle section, i got a number one camalot stuck and got it out by simply pulling on it...not very hard at all...and watching the rock break away around it. The anchors are still there - a metolius rap hangar and some camouflaged chain. Nov 17, 2007

This route had it's own chains a month or so ago. They're on the left hand wall, a bit higher than the Valentines Arete chains. Jan 3, 2007

That's weird, last time I climbed this it had its own dedicated set of chains. That was a year and a half ago though..

There was also a big flake on it that felt a little loose, wouldn't want to fall on anything placed behind it, especially not a cam.. Dec 30, 2006
