Description

Climb the slab to the base of the headwall. If you hug the left arete, it's 5.9. If you stick to the face, it's more like 5.10b. Pretty good rock.

Location

At the far right end of the Slabtown area, this is the only route on the buttress to the right of Rattler.

Protection

Bolts, 2-bolt anchor. Rap or lower.

[Hide Comment] Reaching up to clip the second bolt puts enough slack in the system for a potential ground fall. Climb high, the holds are better. A person in our party broke their femur falling trying to clip the second bolt from the thin stance an arms length below the bolt. Apr 2, 2023
